Before you continue browsing my website, let me briefly introduce myself.
I was born in Havana, Cuba, where I lived and studied until completing high school. My strong interest in mathematics led me to Hungary, where I spent one year in Budapest studying the language before continuing my studies at the University of Debrecen, from which I graduated with a degree in mathematics.
Shortly after graduation, I began my academic career at the Department of Mathematics of the György Bessenyei Teachers Training College in Nyíregyháza, northeastern Hungary. In 2000, this institution became the College of Nyíregyháza, and later evolved into the University of Nyíregyháza. Until 2020, I worked at its Institute of Mathematics and Computer Science. Since then, I have been with the Faculty of Informatics at Eötvös Loránd University (ELTE), in the Department of Numerical Analysis.
In 2005, I earned my Ph.D. in mathematics from the University of Debrecen. My main field of research is dyadic harmonic analysis and its applications. In 2022, I was awarded the title of habilitated professor at Eötvös Loránd University (ELTE).
